CHALISA PONSEAN

UX / UI DESIGNER

Creativity that speaks, design that works

About Me

“Artists express themselves, while designers solve problems.”
That’s something my professors used to say all the time, and as someone who does both art and design, I couldn’t agree more.

Hi, I’m Chalisa Ponsean, a UX/UI designer and freelance illustrator with a background in graphic design. Over time, I also got into website development to make my skills more flexible and bring my ideas to life in different ways.

I love playing puzzle games and learning new things. Finding solutions for clients is just as exciting to me as solving a puzzle. I mainly work with Adobe Photoshop and Figma, and I’m also comfortable using Adobe After Effects, Adobe InDesign, JavaScript, and React.

My goal is to create designs that look professional, solve users’ problems, and make people’s experiences smoother and more enjoyable. If that’s what you’re looking for, let’s get in touch!

Website Redesign for Accessibility: F.A.C.E.S

Collaborated with a non-profit client to redesign their website with a focus on accessibility and ease of navigation. The goal was to make the platform more inclusive for users of all abilities while improving the overall layout, visual hierarchy, and readability. I conducted research to understand user pain points, simplified the site structure, and refined the design to better align with the organization’s professional image.
